Murphy

Murphy is a 4 year old boy whose owner passed away and the family couldn't keep him. His favorite thing so far in his new foster home are balls!!! Any size, he'll chase them. He is getting along fine with his two foster brothers and sister and like most Boxers, wants to be in whatever room you are in. He is just a happy-go- lucky guy and would love to have a home again that he can call his own!

Murphy does have a special need, he would do best in a home that has indoor/outdoor access with a securely fenced yard. He has an irritable bowel that causes him to need to go outside more often than most dogs. His foster home is currently working on finding the right food that will help. He is great at making use of the dog door that was put in for him though! Murphy is very housebroken, but when he needs to go, he needs to go! His sweet loving disposition will more than make up for the little extra care he needs. Murphy is being fostered by Trudy in Jacksonville, FL.

Wahoo

Wahoo makes new doggy friends very easily and with a little encouragement he is ready to play! When not playing he will lay quietly on a blanket or dog bed near you. He is very respectful of other dogs and things around the house. He will let you know when he'd like to go outside by standing at the door and giving a soft whine. He is living with four other dogs in his foster home, three males and one female. He gets along GREAT with all of them!!! If nobody wants to play he will just find a toy and run like the wind around the yard by himself.

Wahoo is 6-7 years old, weighs 75 pounds, and still has PLENTY of energy! He is learning to swim, or at least which direction is OUT of the pool! He knows sit, shake, down, and now working on stay and he is getting better everyday! He should not be placed in a home with cats though. Wahoo is a very sweet, friendly , well behaved middle aged dog. Please complete an online application if you are interested in making Wahoo part of your family. He is being fostered by Trudy in Jacksonville, FL.

Caleigh

Meet Caleigh! She is a 2-3 year old fawn female. She has really found herself at home by understanding who the “pack leaders” are and has figured out how to fit in. She has a well-defined personality of her own, but is integrated with three other Boxers in her foster home. She has a great heart and a strong desire to please, but could certainly benefit from an obedience class. Full of energy and enthusiasm, she is always eager to play or have a good hard run (now that she’s recovered from heartworm treatment, she’s in great shape for this).

She gets up with the family first thing in the morning wagging her wiggly natural tail, inspects the yard for squirrels, and then stays on alert all day! She is gentle and eager to please and greets guests happily when they arrive. Caleigh (pronounced “Callie”) loves people and is really looking for a family of her own. She would love to be the focus and the heart of your family. Whether you have a house full of kids needing a playmate or you need a running, biking or skateboarding buddy then Caleigh is your girl. She is full of affection and fun and is ready to make your home a merrier place. She is being fostered by Angie and Rodney in St. Augustine, FL. Please complete an online application if you are interested in adopting Caleigh. [More]

Nola

Nola is estimated to be about 6 months old and at the moment weighs only 30 pounds. She was surrendered by her owners when the local animal control authorities discovered poor Nola was not being fed nor had she received any vetting. Despite the rough start, this sweet girl is just filled with wiggles and kisses for everyone!

She does have a mild case of demodex caused by the mal-nutrition and stress on her petite body. Demodex is an easily treatable skin condition with a daily dose of medication. She is now spayed and up-to-date on all vaccines. Please check back for more information and pictures of Nola! She is being fostered by Megan and Josh in Tallahassee, FL.
