It's Just a Technicality Now!

"A dog has one aim in life... to bestow his heart." -J.R. Ackerly

Seanna

Seanna was originally found as a stray and taken to a local shelter. She had no hair and was extremely thin. While at the shelter, the staff fell in love with her sweet and outgoing personality despite her lack of good looks. She was turned over to rescue for treatment and placement. Since arriving in foster care, Seanna has grown a beautiful brindle coat. She gets along well with her foster brother and sisters and enjoys the company of children. Seanna will still need surgery to correct a cherry eye and will be spayed and heartworm treated prior to adoption. She goes in for her surgical evaluation on Friday, Mar 21. Seanna's shining personality makes us believe she will make someone a wonderful pet once her medical ordeal is completed. Seanna loves to play tug-o-war, enjoys one on one attention, and will put her head in her favorite person's lap to ask for petting. She REALLY likes toys and flips them into the air when playing. Seanna should not be placed in a home with cats - she seems a bit too curious and would love to chase if given the chance. Seanna is being fostered by the Cooks family in Jacksonville. [More]

Bryce

Bryce is one of seven puppies born to Miley on March 25th. Bryce and his brothers and sisters came into the world with no home to call their own. Bryce is the only puppy with what appears to be a docked tail. He was born this way. He is the runt of the litter, weighing about 2 lbs less than the other pups. He is very energetic and is usually playing with toys and his litter mates.

Raising a boxer puppy demands a 10-15 year commitment, patience, and willingness to deal with training issues specific to young, energetic dogs. Please consider all of these factors before applying to adopt a puppy.

If you find that you are not up for the challenge of a puppy, please consider adopting one of our adult dogs. Many of our adult dogs are already housebroken, crate trained, and know basic obedience. Their temperaments have been tested in a variety of situations and we are able to tell you a lot about them prior to adoption.

Bryce is being fostered by Hayley and Whit in Brunswick. [More]

Cracker Jack (Cheelios)

Cheese and Crackers were found in a box on the side of the road in a rural north Florida town. They are very lucky boys that a kind soul saw them and took them in. They are approximately 13 weeks old and have received their first vaccination and deworming. We believe them to be boxer/retriever mixes. Cracker Jack is being adopted by Kevin and Nicole, his foster parents. [More]

Darielle

Darielle (French for "little darling") originally came to us as a victim of Hurricane Katrina from a shelter in Terrebonne Parish, LA in 2006. She was adopted, but returned due to her owners going through some life changing events. She is a beautiful 4 year old petite flashy fawn with floppy ears and a docked tail and deserves to find a forever home. She is great with other dogs, housebroken and very loveable. Darielle does not need to be crated and respects the boundary of a baby gate if it is necessary to keep her in or out of certain areas of the house. She has already been spayed and her vaccines have been updated. Darielle is being fostered by Jason and Carrie in Jax Bch. [More]
