***Featured Dog*** ($100 Adoption Fee) Spree
Spree won over her foster mom's heart the first moment they met! Even though Spree's previous owners had abandoned her at the shelter once they were done using her to breed, she was eager to give another human a chance. She could not wait to be rescued, licking her foster mom's fingers through the gate and running along beside her to an area where they could play. She even tried to sit on her lap during the car ride home.
Despite living her entire life outside in a run, she is fast adapting to life on the inside. She picked up on housebreaking almost immediately and does not have any accidents. She stays off of beds and furniture. Left alone in the home on several occasions she has not chewed on or torn up a single thing while the humans were away. Oh, and she thinks that air conditioning is a wonderful thing. She believes her new collar makes her look beautiful, and is proud that she is learning how to walk well on a leash. She has only been in her foster home a few days so she still has to learn some basic commands, but she is such a smart little girl, it won't take her long at all.
She is trying to figure out how to play with toys. She just started showing a little interest in them but is not yet sure what to do with them. Mostly she just races her foster brother to them then enjoys the show he puts on tossing them up in the air trying to impress her with how cool he is. She seems to find dragonflies incredibly interesting and lovebugs incredibly bothersome, so clearly she is a genius pup.
She gets along great with her foster brothers Cruise and Milo, but prefers the company of her humans and stays near them whenever possible.
This adorkable little 7 year old girl won't be available long, so get the ball rolling by filling out the online application today!
She is being fostered by Cindy and Dave in DeFuniak Springs, FL.
