Fletcher was surrendered to BARC when his owners realized there was something seriously wrong with him. Unfortunately, he is a very sick puppy, suffering from intussusception of the intestines. Fletcher was unable to eat and in severe pain - surgery was crucial to his survival. We were able to find a veterinary hospital that is willing to work with us on payments as his back-to-back abdominal surgeries and emergency care bills are very high.
Fletcher's veterinarians believe that he has a great shot at a normal life and BARC is committed to giving him every opportunity to get well.
Update: Fletcher is now stable but still on IVs and receiving round-the-clock veterinary care. This little guy has a strong will to live and we are very encouraged by his fighting spirit!
Update #2: Fletcher is back with his foster dad, Chris, and is doing very well; a full recovery is expected!
Donations toward Fletcher's veterinary care expenses are much appreciated.
