Tank is a six-seven year old boxer/bulldog mix who was adopted from us in 2007. He currently weighs in at 75 lbs but he is on a diet. Tank was dearly loved by his adopter and was returned to us only because death parted them. When Tank's beloved Bill passed away, Tank was curled around him as a true friend to the end would be. Obviously, Tank's heart is as big as his bully frame and whatever love is given to him will be returned tenfold.
If you are looking for a great dog with a known history, Tank is your man. He has lived with three other dogs, male and female, ranging from 15 to 55 lbs. He integrates easily with other pack members both human and canine. A true gentle giant-he doesn't challenge and is just happy to be included.
Tank is playful and likes his toys but will take a nap when you want to take a nap. Tank is completely housebroken but he does require a special reinforced crate due to separation anxiety (this may improve with time). His foster home can instruct the new owner on how to alter a traditional airline crate with minimal expense. This dog has way too many endearing qualities to list here so fill out an application and we will be happy to discuss them all. Tank is being fostered by Capp and Dana in Panama City Beach, FL.
Boxer kisses to Lucy Dugger of Tallahassee for sponsoring Tank. [Back]
