Andre

Andre will be 5 on April 9th. He was surrendered to BARC after his owner could not afford to have his skin infections treated at the vet. He has begun the meds that were needed and is on the road to regaining what will be a beautiful brindle coat! He seems to enjoy his baths too. Andre was kept in the backyard his whole life and had never even ridden in a car before. He is curious about just about everything: refrigerator, the washing machine spinning and the vacuum has really got him stumped! He has had only a few accidents in the house , but those were in the first few days. He seems to be getting the hang of going outside very quickly. He watches his foster brothers and sister and is a fast learner. He is still figuring out how the household works and getting in a routine . He is quiet and calm in his crate, no fuss at all about it, and is snoring in no time usually. He is discovering toys, particularly balls and is beginning to play a bit with one if you encourage him. He will follow you around the house just to see what new thing he might see next. He is quiet and polite but his foster mom can tell there is a very playful boy in there somewhere! He walks well on a leash when he figures out what direction you want him to go. He is just a very easy guy to have around . Check back as more pics are added and a video or 2 soon! He doesn't have his good looks back yet, but we can tell he'll be a handsome boy soon! Andre is being fostered by Trudy in Jacksonville
