Hi!! I'm Kylee (aka "Snaggletooth" because I have one tooth that sticks out
just a little. so cute!). I'm a 4-year-old BEAUTIFUL brindle girl with a
slightly crooked natural tail only about 6 inches long. and I'm chopped full
of love, affection, and smiles awaiting my forever home. Talk about a dog
that NEVER goes more than a moment or two without a smile on my face and a
wiggle in my butt when I'm awake! My foster mommy was incredibly surprised
by some of my "non-Boxer" tendencies. like I don't jump up on people when I
greet them and I'm not 24/7 energy.
I do love to play and PLAY I will like
there's no tomorrow, but it's really a toss-up between play and "snuggle
time". I get along very well with my foster brothers and sisters, doing
extremely well in a "pack" situation with at least one other dog to spend my
time with. I'm super quick to learn. learning how to walk pretty on a leash, "sit",
"stay", and even "down" in such a short time! I have mastered the art of
"stay" to the point that my foster mommy can walk around the corner with
food in my bowl and I'll wait for her to say "go ahead" before I chow down.
Don't get me wrong. eating is my FAVORITE past time, leaping in circles when
I know it's breakfast or dinner time, but I patiently wait for her to say
"go"! Amazing, huh?? I came to the house already doing extremely well in a
crate and completely housebroken, taking absolutely no time to catch on to
all the "ways around the house" from my foster brothers and sisters! :D I
am really eager to learn and to be close to my family, whether you're
teaching me new tricks, in your face giving sloppy kisses, being a 55-lb lap
dog, or just being the typical "Boxer shadow" that I am following my foster
mommy around EVERYWHERE.
When I first came to my foster home there was NEVER a moment
without a toy in my mouth. now it's mainly for play and less for a "security
blanket". Regardless, I don't have separation anxiety. I just need some way
to comfort myself until I'm completely comfortable, the vet's staff finds me
incredibly adorable with how I love my toys. Don't let that discourage you,
because you'll be missing out on an absolutely WONDERFUL member of the
family!! None better if you ask my foster mommy.
Kylee is being fostered by Angie.
