Featured Boxer

Dakota

Dakota is a youngster (2 years old) with a sweet disposition and a puppy's enthusiasm. She must complete treatment for demodex before she can be adopted, but she is a candidate for foster-to-adopt.

She is a high energy dog with a need to run, so she'll do best in a home with a securely fenced yard or as a running partner to help make those miles more fun. When off leash she's a very fast runner who will chase a frisbee forever but wants to play keep-away once she has it. Suggestion - always have two on hand! She'll come back for a whistle, but she runs right past like a bullet train! She also jumps with ease and will happily try to follow any squirrel up his tree.

Once she gets enough exercise, Dakota is content to hang out with her people - snoozing in her crate or on her dog bed or cuddling on the couch when invited. [More]
